Our Bikes
At Rock2Road, we did some extensive testing of many dual-sport bikes. The aim was to find a bike that was easy to ride both on and off road but that still gave the rider a sense of fun and get up and go.
It turned out, that 2 bikes were selected. The first was the Suzuki DL650A V-Strom. This bike was so much fun to ride on the road, and, although not capable of travelling on really rough roads, it really was stable and easy to ride on a decent dirt road.
Bike number 2 was the Suzuki DR650SE. The bike is light and so easy to ride on and off the road. The DR650SE is a good choice for less experienced riders and is very forgiving. This bike is also a Learner Approved Motorcycle in NSW.
